Study 01
PLANTAR PRESSURES
The 25% reduction in pressure under the first metatarsal when you wear a PODOKS sock is very important since it will help you relieve pain in that metatarsal area (sesamoiditis) and will generate a situation of less tension in the plantar fascia, ligaments and muscles of the sole of the foot during your daily life and sporting activity. Study 02
PAIN IN PATIENTS WITH PLANTAR FASCITIS
The reduction in heel pain or plantar fasciitis after using the PODOKS sock improved the quality of life of many of the patients who participated in the study while using PODOKS. Patients choose the PODOKS sock as a complement to their podiatric treatment with orthopedic insoles and as a sock of choice for their workplace due to the effect of unloading the sole of the foot that they feel at the end of the day. Study 03
REDUCTION IN NEWTONS OF THE FORCE TO RAISE THE BIG TOE DURING THE WINDLASS MECHANISM.
It has been shown that when you put on a PODOKS sock, the mobility of the first metatarsophalangeal joint or big toe joint during sports activity is improved. This means, on the one hand, a more natural take-off during the race since we use the impulse lever like the big toe more effectively and, on the other hand, it has been shown that better mobility of the big toe (less joint stiffness) It is associated with a mechanical situation of lower tension in the plantar fascia and plantar muscles and its corresponding decrease in muscle fatigue in the sole of the foot after sporting activity. BEFORE / AFTER
Observe the benefits of using a sock with podoks technology.
(SLIDE AND SEE FOR YOURSELF) Without Podoks – Plantar pressures in the left foot, wearing his own sock, in a patient with hyperpressure in the first metatarsal head associated with mild hyperkeratosis under it With Podoks – In the same patient, with the Podoks sock, the normalization of the support pattern in the forefoot is observed, in addition to a separation of the first toe from the second, improving its biomechanical function.

WHO IS BEHIND PODOKS?

He has completed his training in specialization centers at the Complutense University of Madrid, the European University of Madrid and the Miguel Hernández University.
Dr. Alfonso Martínez
He has a diploma and master's degree in surgical podiatry from the University of Barcelona and a degree from the CESPU CRL of Portugal.
He is one of the leading podiatric researchers in technical hosiery, with fifty articles published in leading scientific journals.
David Lucas
David has been chosen as one of the brightest young people under 30 years old by Emprendedores magazine.
He has gone through three of the most important accelerators in Spain: Lanzadera, La Nave and UCAM HiTech. He has developed 7 patents in 4 years and won 2 national awards.

Hallux wedge
Separation and padding of the first toe that provides greater grip at each step activating the muscular function of the foot.
2nd to 5th metatarsal element
Padding in the forefoot from the second to fifth metatarsals relieves the plantar fascia and plantar muscles of the foot, thus reducing fatigue and forefoot pain.
Compression band on arch
Extra compression elastic band increases on the inner arch that provides a greater sensation of support and stability during the walk.
Heel pad
A padded heel reduces the impact while walking, thus increasing the sensation of cushioning.
